MONONA-Laura Lynn Nesberg, God’s gift of sweetness, passed through Hartland House to be with Jesus on Monday, April 23, 2012. She was delivered from a one year battle with cancer. Laura was born on Nov. 23, 1954, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy Nesberg, who with Jesus and other loved ones, welcomed her to Heaven. She liked playing the guitar, making latch hook rugs, beading, cats, and loved shopping. Grateful for sharing her gifts are her sister, Debbie (Danny) Brooks; niece, Sunni (Matt) Schrieber and their children, Sierra, Ariana, Cullen and Sophie; niece, Harmony and her daughter, Rylee; and nephew, Jesse (Jayme) and their children, Ashley and Dylan. Besides Jesus and her parents, she was hopefully greeted in Heaven by her baby; grandparents, John and Frieda Nesberg, and Harvey and Mary Jane Fitch; numerous aunts and uncles; and cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St. Madison, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Memorials may be made to TLC, Hartland House, Agrace HospiceCare, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
