Obituary:MADISON-Andrea F. Wagner, age 88, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Madison. She was born on Oct. 11, 1923, in Detroit, MI., the daughter of Harry and Frances Henningsen. She married John Wagner on Aug. 29, 1942, in Sacramento, CA. They celebrated 41 years of marriage until his death in 1983. Andrea had ten children which were the joy of her life. She was Grandma to many and extremely proud of all of her grandchildren. She loved to travel and her good luck with scratch tickets blessed her with cash for trips she enjoyed with her children, brothers and friends. More recently, her favorite days included an outing to Hilldale, and Bingo. Andrea is survived by her children, John Jr., Ginger (Rick) Hong, Chris (Karen), Liz (Norm Jr.) Wright, Mike (Lynette), Dave (Tina), Tim (Kathy), Mary Ellen, Jim (Taiha), and Jeff (Chelse); nineteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, George, Glenn, Gilbert, and Jerry; and sister-in-law, Lu Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wagner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, with Father Kent Schmitt and Father Ken Klink concelebrating. Burial will be at Blooming Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. The family would also like to express gratitude to all the staff at St. Mary’s Care Center, for the wonderful care provided to Andrea the past eight years. Visitation: Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012, with Father Kent Schmitt and Father Ken Klink concelebrating.
