BELOIT/STOUGHTON-Robert M. Ziebol, age 73, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. He was born on April 1, 1936, in St. Cloud, Minn., the son of Mathew and Elizabeth (Wilmas) Ziebol. Robert married Sharon J. Leedahl on Aug. 21, 1958, in St. Cloud, Minn. He was an engineer at Beloit Corporation for 38 years. Robert was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Beloit and currently a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stoughton. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Stoughton; children, Scott (Dolores) Ziebol of Wauwatosa, Patricia Ziebol of Sun Prairie, Catherine (Bruce) Nelson of Oregon, Thomas (Kristen) Ziebol of New Richmond, and Jennifer (Patrick) Palecek of Wausau; 15 grandchildren; siblings, Virginia (Carl) Lyon of Waite Park, Minn., Mary Ann (Peter) Hulth of Smithfield, N. C., Kay (Leon) Schnobrich of Sartell, Minn., James (Jean) Ziebol of Mesa, Ariz., Betty (Richard) Olson of St. Paul, Minn., and Irene (William) Stearns of Piney Point, Md.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Frances (Tony) Trobec, Margaret (Gabriel) Hennek, Arthur (Mary) Ziebol, Edmund (Erma) Ziebol and Lois (Duane) McKibben. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ANN’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to HospiceCare Inc., 5395 E.
