"Judie" Pittack Dates: Birth date: February 18, 1940 Death date: February 02, 2010 Obituary: MADISON-Judith E. “Judie” Pittack, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Feb. 18, 1940, in Madison, the daughter of George and Clara (Nelson) Buchanon. Judie attended Madison East High School. She retired from Associated Bank after 36 years of service. Judie also worked part-time for the National “W” Club for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, and being active in her retirement community. Judie is survived by her two children, SuEllen (Gregg) Johnson of McFarland and Larry Smith (Molly) of Madison; four grandchildren, Shannon, Shane, Charissa and Jacob Smith; a great-grandson, Isiah Smith; sister, Georgia (Earl) Erickson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lucille (Thomas) Morris, Phyllis Buchanon and Alviria (LeRoy) Payne; and SuEllen and Larry’s father, Donald Langston. A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at noon on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, with Pastor John Seidl presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be at Highland Memory Gardens, at a later date. A special thank you to Dr. Couser, Dr. Hernandez, Dr. Daley, and the caring staff at St. Mary’s Hospital.
