Obituary:STOUGHTON- Gary Lyle Davison, age 67, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at his home in Stoughton. He was born on Nov. 19, 1944, in Madison, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Davison. Gary attended Madison East High School, and upon graduation enrolled at Madison Area Technical College, where he earned his Associates of Arts Degree in Commercial Art. He worked as a commercial artist in the Madison area for a number of years before changing his career to an Electrician. Gary was married to Victoria Ann Georgeson, and together they had three children: Kristin (Ken) Thomas, Stephen (Kelli) Davison and Scott (Shannon) Davison. Gary’s long and successful career as a Master Electrician ended upon his retirement in 2008. He was a long-standing member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #159. Gary was an avid lover of vintage cars, hunting, fishing and Euchre. He is survived by a sister, Diane (Davison) Golz; as well as his three children; and three grandchildren, Stephanie, Henry and Lily Davison. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle Davison and Harriet Davison; as well as a brother, Rick Davison. Graveside services will be held at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK, 401 Femrite Dr. Monona, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2012. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dane County Humane Society. Visitation: Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday.
